Martinez Arts Association

The Martinez Arts Associaton was created in 1968 as a non-profit Arts group to promote the Arts in Martinez.
Hosting the 40th Art in the Park this
August 16 in Susana St. Park,
MAA has a gallery in the historic Sharkey Building at 630 Court Street in downtown Martinez.
The mARTinez GALLERY, on the corner
of Court and Main Streets in downtown
Martinez. An artists' coop, is full of paintings, photographs, cermics and
glasswork, jewelry, cards and prints,.
fabricwork and wimsical beings.


The MAA rotating Exhibit in City Hall at 525 Henrietta Street, the Harbor Master's Office at 707 Ferry Street at the Marina, and at the office of the Chamber of Commerce in the new Train Station, show artwork by MAA members for two months. The downtown rotating exhibit
shows at the Chamber of Commerce office, the Investment office of John Fuller, changing art every two months.
